It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    8-10 would be better.

How are you measuring your Sg? If hydrometer I would definitely do some re-checking of the Sg. I only post that because the coral looks similar to something I saw when my Sg creeped up once.

Other than that mod flow and lighting, your parameters look good.

Hopefully it will come around in the next day or two.

I use a refracto To test my sg, when I first tested it read 1.028 sg, I calib it with RO/DI water and tested again and I was sitting at 1.026. I tested the water from the local reefer I got the hammer from and his sg was 1.019. I only did a temp acclimation, could the sg change stress it that much??

1.019 to 1.026 is a large swing for salinity. The whole head looks like it's retracting. Can you put a bucket with tank water, a powerhead and add some Ro water to bring salinty down and gradually bring it closer to your tank water. Brown slime Is never a good sign sorry

not sure on exactly what you mean, i guess i could but it has been 5 days now that it has been in my tank, i dont think putting it in a bucket and swing the sg around at this point would be very beneficial. i could be wrong, could you describe what you mean alittle better, thanks for your help, threw you some karma..

Well all your params seem fine except for the swing in sg. I was hoping if you could throw it in some lower salinity water wether it would help. I'm assuming the brown slime could be die off. So the bucket is like a qt tank. Smaller amount of water is easier to change I think.
