    Looks like budding, very cool. The conditions must be ideal for the coral.

    I have noticed similar
    Budding on my frogspawn.
    Growing from the base of the colony, i have wondered if it could be snapped off and placed into direct lighting as a frag.
    But would it be viable? Would that harm the mother colony?
