    I have found a Halogen Track Shoplight, and would like to know if a Halogen light will have the right kind of lighting for a Saltwater tank?

    Unfortunatly No. I would check the Kalvin rating of the lamp. Plus Halogen lamps run even hotter than MH and are very tempermental.
