Hairy Frogfish caught on video in Vietnam

    Jun Lao had another great dive recently - capturing a hairy frogfish in Vietnam!



    A hard to find critter where underwater photographers fly either to Lembeh Straits Indonesia or Anilao Philippines just to get photos of one. Well, the elusive Hairy frogfish was here in Nha Trang on a nightdive made- June 26, 2011. Been searching for this critter for over a year and finally got the chance to get good photos of it. Finally, off my critter list.

    Too bad the video image is of another fish all together :lol:'

    I wish he spent more time on the nudi and flatworm!

    The first half of the video doesn't show the hairy frogfish??

    I think Gresham is talking about the still image before you hit play. I noticed that too. :)

    Seeing this fish walk along the bottom really makes it a lot easier to accept that we evolved from sea life.
