    well i stopped amd got three turbo snails today are they useally the size of golf balls

    They are still keeping my rock picked off and doing good, lol mine even got into my overflow, only keep what you need, and take the rest back to a lfs and trade em in

    they wont trade them back ill find someone local that has the same prob. and give them to them after im done with them

    Expect you will be very glad to have such a problem...;)

    Keep them around...they will keep your tank clean of most algae...

    Feed them some dried nori wrapped around a rock and placed on substrate against the glass...

    If not enough in tank to keep fed, nature will take course and trim population to efficient number. (crabs will just get fed a little better for while...:p)

    sea hair

    i have had a hair algae problem for a couple of months now.. i heard about sea hairs and just recently got 1, took care of my hair algae problem in a couple of days:). now i read on them but couldn't find any thing that they will eat, except hair algae. dont want it to die. could some one help please.


    45gal. 2-3.5in of mostly sand and crushed coral,some live rock, coraline algae 18k power glo bulbs, multiple snails and crabs, sailfin tang

    amonia 0, nitrate 20, nitrite 0, alkalinity 240, ph 8.2
