    stupid pc keeps lockin up my amm nitrate nitrite all read 0 alk is 10 mag is 1400 cal is 400 phos is o i dont know if it is consuming this stuff before i can detect it

    I totally understand i'm sure, weve all been there.
    You must attack this problem head on or the algae will over whelm the tank.
    I've seen that crap ruin a tank and it's inhabitants.

    PAITENCE, and go at it'. ( bring the azz stompin man out ) and get on it.

    windex has phosphates in it, and some of them probably get into the tank inadvertantly, that could be part of the problem. just use one wet napkin and one dry one to clean the glass
