Do you think hermit crabs would bother him?

    They shouldn't unless they're large.

I would try a law mower blenny before I would get a sea hare just because once the algae is gone they will die and release a toxin like said before. That toxin can crash your tank and to fight it you have to do like a 50% water change immediately

Do you think a lawnmower blenny would raise my bioload significantly?

I have a couple that are easily 1.5-2 inches. I also have a peppermint shrimp. Would he bother the sea hare? Sorry for all of the questions. My parents are taking me to the LFS today and I want to make sure I get the right thing.

Depends on who you talk to, some people say they are dirty messy fish which add a lot of bioload and others say they don't add more than a clownfish

How I did my gha situation was I added about 6 hermits(some ate algae others didn't) and about 5 Astraea snails and about 10 margarita snails.

I would get about 5 nassarius, 10 margarita and 7 Astraea

The numbers I had where from when I only had 10 lbs of live rock after my cycle ended. I have added more since then since I started adding rock

Also this will keep your bio load minimal

Get a turbo snail as well, they go HAM on hair algae. But they may die when it's all gone because they require so much food.
