That's an awesome tank. Good combo with the gumball machine.
I moved the fish tank onto a shelf. I think it looks pretty good there.
Most of the wires are hidden behind & under the bookshelf. The wire in the top is for the thermostat.
You can see that I pulled all the marbles out....it doesn't look as cool, but it's way easier to clean and the fish likes to hide under the heater pad sometimes ;D
I think my son is about old enough to enjoy it now!
That's a good idea. There's some room in the base where I could keep some of the equipment. Maybe I'll look into this some more...
Thanks, I'm glad you like it!
I hope that you have this picture in a frame. Congratulations!
tank looks good too!
is that wire the heater? i cant remember if you're still using that flat little heater thing?
Thanks!! I can't wait until he's old enough to ask for a fish ;D
Yep, I'm still using the heater pad from Hydor. The heater is just too big (physically) for the 1 gallon tank, but it's low wattage so in that respect it's about the right size.
One of these days I'm gonna do it different....I think I've got some good ideas. These days I haven't been working on ideas for this tank, I've been making my own DIY rocks for the reef tank that I've been dying to start!
awesome. now someone has to get one of the big gumball machines with the spinning gumballl thing underneath the globe. and make a fish tank with that!!!!!!!!
it would be interesting to add automatic feeder with the dial =)
hey, i made one of these in college! minus the light.
