She was doing fine until about two weeks ago when she peeled herself off the back of the aquarium. It looked ok so I left it alone. Now, as you can see form the pics, no polyps and the rubbery matt is shriveled. Thoughts? Can I trim it or should I wait?
All water parameters are in perfect shape with salinity of .025

Probably OK as is. Check your phosphate and nitrate and let us know where they are at. Alk,Ca and Mg also.

I know mine can for a week or more sometimes without opening up. They always make me nervous.

I've never had that problem. Is there maybe something eating it?

The only thing I can think of is either a turbo snail or emerald crab. I haven't seen anyone taking bits of it though. I'm thinking I'll trim it. I've read where they fall under their own weight if growing up glass. Thoughts?

I don't think so. I've seen members on here that had half of their back glass covered with it.
