You need to take a soft brush and brush them off under the current of a powerhead. They most likely have debris or jelly building up on them

OK they polyps are clean. I cut them and put them on separate rocks. I'll let the neighbor have some for his tank. He'll love it...

My polyps still haven't opened up. About 5 opened up this morning before we took it out of the tank and glued it down. But there are a lot of polyps, and only 5 opening... I got the frag yesterday at around 8pm. Hopefully they will open up tomorrow when he lights goes on.

They will be fine. Sometimes, they take a while to get used to new environments after beign handles. I have three large rocks with gsp and they've been smashed against sand, glass, other rocks, and my hand. Sometimes it takes a day to get back to normal, sometimes 3-4 days. They always turn out fine.

I have them in my tank. It grows like crazy, nice affect when it's out.. All you have to do is have one side down. it will attach on it's own as long as you don't have current blowing it around.. Most people will attach it on the glass in the back of the tank..

No words are needed to accompany this picture that I copied from another internet hobby site a few years ago :)
