Just recently in earlier post was saying that I wished I had some zoa's with green in them.

My Coris wrasse in his rearranging of my tank, turned over a zoa rock which I have had for some time.

There at bottom of rock were some nice green centered Zoa's...

Had been growing on backside where I could not see them.

You do sometimes get what you wish for....

Thank you wrasse, you can quit moving rocks now! :-/

Very nice Coris wrasse! I love Zoo's as well and have been thinking about doing a Zoo only tank with clams. I especially love the multi-colored Zoo's with blue's, purples, pinks and reds. As soon as the weather warms up here in minnesota (it was -10F the other night) I will be ordering some of them. Currently I have some really bright orange zoo's as well as some green and green and yellows. If any one is here locally and would like to swap some polyps let me know.

It looks like they are the same as whats on the front of the rock, just not coloered up as well. Alot of times when you buy something in the store, it will be green or brown and then color up to be something totally different. Same holds true for what grows in you tank. If it spreads into a darker spot of your tank, it can take on a different appearance to it.

:-/ will see...hope they stay that way.

    Will keep eye on.

If darker is what they need to stay green, will move entire rock under large toadstool and give them some shade.

Have noticed zoa's change color with age and density of colony. 8)
