    I have a 29 gallon biocube..this stuff is growing out of my rock and i just pull it off...it looks like crap. any ideas please?

    It's Neomeris annulata, a kind of calcareous algae. It's not really bad unless you just don't like the looks of it. It likely won't last very long or overtake your tank, in any case.
