this is hilarious watching you skinny dip in your tank LOL. I have got tears in my eyes just imagining all the bad language running through your head while having to do this. It does look like its set back up and looks real good. Sorry for all your troubles.

OMG! I feel so bad for you. I would have had to have been put in a straight jacket!
Well GTS, you may want to get yourself an excellent pair of goggles and snorkle. My question is how did you handle the water displacement? Anyway, your tank still looks awesome but with 1,000 snails this is just the beginning good buddy. You are going to have to take a dip in your tank a lot in the beginning until your corals get well placed. After that it shouldn't be too bad. Good luck man..

Now I'm going to need a straight jacket.I guess that it's too late for me to change my mind and fish those guys out of there, huh. I didn't want to epoxy any of the corals yet because I'm still learning where the best spot in the tank is for each of them.

I was so freaked out at the time that I didn't even worry about displacement. I knew that it could be an issue but my thoughts were something along the lines of "things can't possibly get any worse". But the sump handled things without a hitch. It's 135 gal and designed to hold a lot of volume from my huge overflows and lots of big plumbing. If I had turned off the power while doing this, I would have been in trouble since that raises the level in my sump by 6" or so.
