    youll need four 8foot 2x6's

    and four 10 foot 2x4's (thats enuff for a 40' tall stand)

    Just my 2/c......Why do you need to cram everything under your tank for a cube. If you plan on building a stand anyways, why not build a secondary cabinet area slightly under, and to the side of your tank, that way you don't have to get a step ladder to reach inside of it, and also gives you more space for your sump area......

    Plus with the second stand idea you can have a satellite tank or display refuge. I saw a pic of a display refuge online (just google it) really sweet.;)

    That's true but for me, I will just want the main tank though.
