Got some new stuff on Sunday, plus an unwelcome hitchhiker that luckily I was vigilant and spotted!

The hitchhiker was crammed into a snail shell that was part of a zoa colony. I kept wondering what was in the shell, then realized what it was when I got the magnifying glass out. By the way, CoralRX dip DID NOT even come close to killing this polyclad flatworm!

Also found 4 of these anemones (ball anemones?). Considering there were 4 in a 2 x 3" area, I decided they must propagate far more easily than I'd want in my tank, so I pulled them all (I hope).

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
That is so cool, I have never been able to get an image of a polyclad worm. They are big time cool, except for the coral and snail eating thingy.

Yeah, they're kinda cool-looking. First one I've ever had. Thankfully I'd seen a post a month ago that showed one, so as soon as I saw brown & spotted, I knew immediately what it was!

Not that I would know what big buggers look like being a nurse. But the first time I saw one I was like how did all this mucous get in the tank. My bad, because I thought was so I cool I put him back in the tank. When they move it's with lighting speed. I have heard people say they think that their fish was eaten by one, but I do not believe that.

Oh the finger leathers are very nice, almost look like an sps.

Monti cap. Not sure how this will do, the guy insisted on throwing it in. Guess we'll find out.

The post I saw showed one eating a turbo snail. It was huge (so was ours)!
I'm really loving the finger leathers, they already seem very happy! And you're right, very SPS looking. Just looking tonight, the tan one is already bigger LOL.

Yeah, the green one is really cool!

You should be pleasantly surprised how the monti cap does. I got one about 3 weeks ago and its showing growth already. My buddy fragged it for me, it was his first coral ever! it is over a foot wide in diameter now, and started out at about 3 inches.
