ok this depends on if they are "sun polyps" or "sun coral" they are totally different species, one is a large paly type coral, the other is a LPS

If you can post a pic we can tell you which one it is and what the care and needs for it are.

    or more like this?

I have had mine for about 6 or 7 weeks. It took about 10 days before it opened up fully, so don't be too concerned about a delay. I feed mine Cyclopeze with a syringe (no needle). Best chance at feeding is after lights out, although mine now start to open if they sense food in the water. Place them in a shaded area, they don't require alot of light.

Note; they just graduated to eating mysis shrimp, they now prefer this over the cyclopeze.

If they look like the picture but very yellow..
They may be Yellow Polyps.. Which you gotta feed.. Or should..

    Mine love mysis shrimp..
Mine were not easy to get started, but now are doing very good..

    Go to http://mamma.com
( an old but very good search engine ) and do a search for ..
    Yellow Polyps ..
And see if that is what you have..

    Good Luck, Larry
