In NY they are $10 a pack for premium cigs - if you smoked a pack a day that's $3,650.00 annually - kind of nuts!

I live here in canada,I get a few buddies to get me cartons when heading down south to grand forks...
30.00 bucks for a carton of 200 smokes 10 pack per carton...
also my family goes back and forth from the phillippines alot year after year...
a carton of marlboro lights and other kinds hit 7-9 bucks a carton(200 smokes)...
    so I'm good for now..
I've quit before for 4+ years, decided to kick back into the hobby because I was bored while sitting outside for break from work....
but at this budget I should be ok....
as for people spending 10-15 per pack I'd quit...

Another way to look at it...

If you quit smoking, just put the daily $$ you spent on smokes into a jar...you would be amazed at the reef tank you could have in a year or 2 with the savings. If you don't really need the $$, you could always give it to someone who is really in need, especially in these hard times....it will make you feel a lot better than a smoke and you might even stick around a bit longer. Good luck to everyone that quit or trying to quit smoking.

How is everyone doing that quit.
