    7 inches is massive for a goby.

    I have one of these and I love it!...he deffinately moves alot of sand tho. Nowhere near 7inches

    Do you have to have fine sand for one of these? I've got caribsea aragonite black, and it's not that fine

    Also can you not have corals or clams that stay on the sand?

    Fine sand is not a requirement as long as the sand isn't too coarse. You can have corals on the sand but they may get cover and or buried when the goby sifts the sand so be prepared to uncover some corals.
