I have a chunk of green star polyps that broke off into 2. One portion has a small artificial rock base and the other does not. Neither are where I put them in the morning, every morning. I don't know if it's crabs or flow but since they never fall off in the day I think my CUC is doing it.
I've heard you can glue these to rocks and I'd like to know if that's true. If so, do I have to dry the spots first.. what kind of glue do I use and how long should I leave it out of the tank? Thanks.

Use gel superglue. Dry off the rock and the area of the polyps you plan to place on the rocks.

Green star polyps typically mat on LR. Are you sure this is star polyps and not a pipe organ coral

I just glued some the other night. I glued a small piece of gsp with loctite super glue gel onto a small piece of live rock. The gsp are on a mat. Super easy.

It should only take a minute or two to set.I like to place them in the superglue.Wait 10 seconds then wiggle it a little to make sure it has set. Then add it to the tank.;)
