Ocanics all have that brace. it has little effect on light. Unless the salt is allowed to get really thick.

Have you guys tried or heard of anyone using a liquid resin to repair a scratch ? I had my car windshild scratched fairly bad once and I took the car in and the shop specialist just applied a resin and now I don't see the scratches. I have on scatch that mainly I only notice so I rotated the tank 180 degrees. But was wondering if this same idea could be practiced on my tank?
    any thoughts?

It can be buffed or polished out if you want to remove the scratch. As for the polymer windshield filler ?

You will also have algae that grows on the glass get in that scratch and you won't be able to get it out with a ordinary Mag scraper glass cleaner. I have a scratch on the side of my 55 that stays green. You will be able to notice that scratch after time.
