Would glass frag plugs work? I am a glass blower by trade and could make glass plugs rather easily. I don't think I'd want to make a commercial venture out of it, but was curious if they would work or any thoughts on why (not).

If by some odd chance this is a new idea, and someone with some experience would like to try a few I'd be happy to mail a few out for the cost of shipping.

Anything else any of you would like to see made out of glass? I use top quality Schott borosilicate lab glass for maximum strength and clarity.

It would certainly be more attractive than the plugs out there right now. I guess my main question would be, how well does superglue attach to glass?

I might be interested in some.
To get the glue to stick could you rough up the glass surface? or something like that?

yeah you'd probably need to score the top of the glass somehow or use frosted glass at the glass maybe. to help the glue.

I would grind the tops to a very rough (for glass) finish that the gel glue sticks to quite well.

I'll make a few and post pics later this weekend.
