    Water parameter readings as of 3/5/14. Starded2/20/14. ph 8.2, nh3-4 0.50ppm ,no2-5.0 ppm ,no3-5.0 ppm, salinity 32, sg123. Getting there. Ghost feeding every other day.;D Not running skimmer should I? Still cycling.

    no you do not need to run skimmer

    how long do u leave the shrimp in the tank for?

    I have read on this site and others that some leave them in for the duration of the cycle and others like myself take them out when the NH 3/ 4 peaks or the shrimp start stinking to high Heavens :cheesy:. That's when the ghost feeding started in order to prevent a stall in the continued cycling process.

    I' getting pumped. My parameters are ph8.2, nh3/4 0.ppm, no2 0.25ppm, no3n 5.0ppm tempt 78.4, ghost feed tank.:wave::wave:
