    I just bought a bucket of instant ocean and there was a sample of gel food packets that they claim are nutritional. Anyone tried it?

    You don't have to refrigerate it but its supposedly healthier than flake food.

    i use this for my tank i really do not think it is working b?c i have a lot of alga but my fish seem to love it, and it really is messy

    I dont like it. IMO does not spread out in the tank very well......comes out as a glob and remains as a glob even if you put it directly in front of the powerhead

    i use it too..my fish go nuts for it..cant even get it to the water before they are trying to jump out for it..

    I put mine in some tank water first use a turkey baster spread it out a bit and then put in front of powerhead my fish dont really like it too much yet but are getting better. Mine was also free
