Gbta @ six months

Picked up my gbta around august of last year. This guy keeps growin but won't split seems too happy. But here is some of the growth in the last six months.
When I first acclimated

That's a lot of growth! I have heard they'll split when they're stressed.

 

yeah, that is true...great growth, dont change anything..but i think they only split when they are stressed.. its not often to see a big bta like that..

 

Yeah seems to be around 12-14 inches across. Seems to be taking over my tank lol

 

yeah i just had to get rid of my lta that size..i got a rbta to replace it..

 

Congratz on the growth! thats amazing! But i'm somewhat confused, is this long tentacle or bubble tip? it's like it only has the bubbles tips when it is small...

 

When I purchased they told me gbta, once in my tank it opened up...

 

for some reason, bubble tip nems always seem to elongate their tentacles in aquariums...

I don't know the reason for this phenomenon, but it seems like someone should figure this out... we've advanced very far with corals, but it seems like this nem is still a mystery to most...

 

it looks happy verry nice . can thay be fraged ? that guy is growing fast being new in this hobby nems scare me i want one but i worry about the other inhabatance

looking at yours i may eventually take the chance

 

yes you can cut them in pieces making sure you get part of the mouth and they will grow, but I would feel bad for the nem =/
