    Great question...I had thought the jar in my fridge was garlic in oil, but double checking it it appears that it isn't in oil. Never thought about using that stuff!

    Some extracts have alcohol in them, some diced garlic has oil in it. Both are harmful to your tank.
    LPS garlic is ultra homogenized with water so no refridgeration is required. You can make your own with a garlic press and water. Recipe is 1/4 water per clove of garlic. simmer it on a low heat till it browns but doesn't burn or sizzle. Pour thru a coffee filter, Bottle it up. Homemade ick remedy. Dose is one teaspoon per 20 gallons. Or mix drops with food for regular feeding.
