Frustrated!! PICS ADDED NOW

You have to do 21 days with Cupramine. I know the bottle says two weeks, but that's minimum. Same thing happened to me the first time. Every time since, I have done 21 days with success. I also do Prazi for the last two weeks, two doses, assuming the fish is doing well.

 

I was thinking 4 weeks this time. But you say 3 weeks is enough? I will give that a shot. Do you ever use melafix to treat mouth rot with cupramine? I have a little plaguing my tang.

Sorry about the lousy pics. He is very shy. Doesnt like much attention. Even in the qt he doesnt like for me to be near the tank.

 

Some tangs and angels can get HLLE from copper medications, so I stay at 21 days. I don't use melafix, so I'm not sure about using it with copper.

I don't really see anything wrong with his mouth. He looks pretty good except he looks skinny in the last picture, but that's probably distortion from the glass.

 

What is HLLE?

 

There are loose slimy looking spots on his mouth. Couldnt get a clear pic of it. Treating him with melafix. Yes he is skinny. Eats EVERYTHING I throw in there. Thus I am trying to de-worm. Thinking that might be why he is so skinny...??
