I had a frogspawn lose its color and turn brown. Still alive and the color is coming back. I wonder if it was stressed and not a lighting issue?

    Don't know what to say...[IMG]

Too much flow, too much light:confused:

Always chance another coral in tank exuding some toxin inhibiting growth. Softies are well know for doing this.

Best defense against, is more frequent/size of water changes.

Also best answer for other possible problems...:-/

Very likely a lighting issue. Color changes usually are. If new addition to tank I would say too big a lighting difference in your tank compared to where it came from.

Color coming back is good sign.

    Good Luck Both.

We have our frogspawn about mid tank with 8 T5(54)'s and feed it about once a week. We give him a little silverside or squid.....The frogspawn has nearly doubled in size in about 6 months....

This is probably a dumb question, but how do you feed a frogspawn? Just drop the food on it? I don't have one yet, but I will in about 2 months, and this is so far my favorite coral. Frags anyone wants to sell?
