My trumpet fell on my frogspawn but I managed to notice it fairly quickly. I was getting the fish from the 10g to put in the 40b so it was sitting on it for a couple minutes tops. Now there is a black spot on my trumpet and there may even be a hole in one polyp. Will it be ok? Is there anything I should do to help it out?

    TIA

You can try an iodine dip if you have some.

Iodine helps shrimps and crabs molt when in the proper range. The dip works the same way as cleaning a wound on us, it kills bacterias and helps remove damaged flesh so the body can repair itself.
