Cosmo,my oldest boy is almost 12,just last night he brought to me a car made out of legos and ask if I liked it,I said yeah, thats a cool lego car.Hes still mad at me because I didnt know it was supposed to be a 2010 dodge challenger RT special edition.(it was a square block with 30 different colors and 4 wheels) LOL,just remember to look at it from his level, your tank is the one next to it and his tank looks just fine.Im surprized you didnt get him a glow in the dark background to go with it.;)

When I was a kid, my tank had a treasure chest that opened and closed with air bubbles. I liked that more than any of the fish I ever had.

ya gotta love their imagination, and be a little envious of it. I wish my brain still worked that way;)

lol, he didn't see those. I just told him its his tank so he gets what he wants. So we went to the tanks, then the gravel, then the plants. Thats what he wanted, so that's what he got.

BigJim, I had one of those too and loved it. I'll show hose to him when we go to the LFS. In a related note, do freshwater tanks need an airstone or something similar?

Ok well the boy got his chance at the fish store and here's what we got:
    A Dalmatian Molly
    2 painted tetras
    A Cory cat
    12 ghost shrimp
    4 plants
To add to our betta and then we added our 2 dwarf frogs we've had for 2 years!
I was worried about the betta being an ahole but after a few hours we had to remove the pink tetra! It was attacking everything! Even the frogs! Weird! Hoping I can add a small school of neons or danios at some point!
