    Here is one of several i have made as you can tell i like holes in mine , I like to use a mix on the dry side and i put broke up oyster shells in the mix for texture.

    Yep I like it too very nice looking rock! The only difference is mine will have crushed coral which is white.....

    Check mine out in the fish tank sections. All but 4 pieces in my tank are DIY. I used 1 part Portland cement to 6 parts crushed oyster shell. Send me a PM if you like what you see and want specific instructions.

    Has anyone tried mixing with rock salt or pellets to make it more porous?
    Just a thought, sort of like the do "no Slip" around pools.:idea:
    No ideal if it would work..

    Yeah, there's some pretty detailed threads here about DIY rocks...I just can't get it right.
