Fragging ORA Hawkins

    I'm just thinking that the rock may have had phosphates locked up in it. as soon as you glued the coral on the rock, they wicked up into the coral turning it brown.

    The rock was a piece of liverock from inside the tank, I wouldn't say it browned, it's like the blue coating just faded away. I mean the only thing I could think of was because of the glue touching it, but idk.

    I've heard some corals can be sensitive to glue but haven't ever had it happen to me. Is it still alive? Are the polyps still coming out?

    What glue was used? I've Fragged 1000 of corals and some times they just die. If you used the wrong glue it would kill the frag

    it still isn't looking good. i just used generic superglue to secure it

    hawkins echinata is a hard coral to be able to judge by polyp extension. They have very tiny polyps
