frag tank filtration?

    what kind of filtration do i need for a 55 gallon frag tank?

    can i use a hob filter with carbon?

    You can. I would suggest more filtration dependent on your types of frags. I set up a 100 gallon (TWV) frag tank and I have 3 reactors running, carbon, gfo and EcoBak, a skimmer rated for 200 gallons and 60+ LBS of live rock. It all depends on what you are looking to do. A HOB filter will work, but you must also have some biological filtration (bio balls, live rock, etc.).

    ok thanks. i will add some lr and a hob skimmer i want to keep soft lps and a few sps corals. i will be using a 4 bulb t5 fixture.
