Foxface with round growth on chin

I just noticed that my foxface has a round protrusion on its chin (I know fish don't have chins, do they?). The growth appears to be the same color as its skin (opaque) and is very round and smooth. Sorry about the poor quality pic. I will try to post something better in the morning. The bump is the white section in between the two black stripes. Any ideas? I've never seen anything like this before on any of my fish.

 

Here is a better photo. The protrusion seems to be sticking out a bit further today. Any ideas? Again, I have no idea what this could be.

Yep, it is wierd. Im just hoping that it doesn't burst open and an alien comes out (you know, like in the Alien movies).

did it just appear overnight that growth? It's kinda tough to tell what it is. but any chance maybe while eating frozen food the guy bit through a bone and it pierced through?
