i went to my lfs, and found out that they have a 140g used tank for sale, they are askign for 450 for it, they shape and everythign seem to be in perfect condition, however, i have only planned to get a 75g tank, should i upgrade to a 140 or a 75? how hard would it be to upkeep the 140?

Are you serious?! You are going to ask a bunch of reef addicts bigger or smaller??
I have a 75, wish I could go bigger but the husband won't let me get rid of the couch to make room. I vote 140G.

if your gonna get this tank or any other try and stay away from submersible pumps, try and use external pumps. less heat transfer and less problems down the road

i fancy little giant and gen-x external pumps, to each their own. match the head pressure with the tank height along with the overflow maximum flow rate.
