for those guitar peeps, would this be good?

hi everyone! just want a bit of input right now.

i have a schecter omen 6 with walnut satin, rosewood fretboard, basswood body, and 24 jumbo frets. i have a guy interested in trading me a jeff loomis 7 string guitar with walnut satin. i know the guitar is worth like 4 times than mine but the thing is my guitar is brand new and his is a little old, it doesnt have the nut on the cord connection. but it also has upgraded pickups. any thoughts?

 

What type of pick ups? And upgrading to 7 strings sounds like a good idea for playing metal. They are so much fun.
