They will eat anything you put in the tank. They are plankton eaters so any small meaty food is good. They will consume flake food and small pellet food also. You will need to feed them well at least once a day if not more.

Agree. I used to have them and they ate anything. They are omnivores so a varied diet is good. I fed them OSI Brine flakes, OSI Spirulina flakes (I feel it's the best food for omnivores and herbivores as Spirulina boosts their immune system as well as supplies a very, very high-quality protein), Freeze dried Brine shrimp (more of a treat), live brine shrimp that I hatched myself, and chopped up table shrimp (they have small mouths so it has to be tiny pieces). They grew well and retained their color on that diet.

Chromis eat anything you give them.
They prefer meaty foods like mysis, brine.
They love formula 1 flakes, and formula 2 pellets with spirulina.

I pretty much do a combination.
Pellets, flakes, and frozen emerald cubes, mysis and nori clips.
    They eat like pigs.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
You need to be careful about feeding often.

You run the risk of algae problems, and decreasing water quality.

Once a day should be fine. If you feed more it needs to be small amounts IMO.

once a day, or a couple times a day?
