This is a follow up question to the following question:

    http://www.3reef.com/forums/live-rock/wet-base-rock-question-78134.html

Does the rock really need to soak again after I used the garden hose to blast the "crap" off of it? If so, why does it need to soak again? Also if it does need to, how long should I soak it for before putting in the tank?

    Thanks in advance

I would give it a rinse in ro water or maybe some water from a water change just to get anything off that might have been in the tap water from the hose. But I guess it is not absolutely necessary if you can't possibly do it. But it would be some piece of mind.
