flow rate

    i have a 125 gal setting up for reef, heres my question, i just installed a overflow box rated at 1500 gph, 2 2inch lines going down to the sump. i have 2 little giant pumps rated at 1250 going back into the tank. tomarrow im building 2 spray bars for the 2 return lines. did i over kill this?

    What part are you considering possible overkill?

    I'm not sure how restrictive your spray bars will be....but, obviously, as long as your drain capacity exceeds your returns.....then you're A-OKAY!
