Hmm but it takes up a bunch of real estate! The mp40s don't and at 225 not a bad price

Are they pretty big, yes but much more flexible, can be pointed in any direction and, I know I'm going to get push back from the fan boys, but it is quieter than the MP40 as well. You may think of going with the WP25 when it launches or get the reefkeeper like mentioned before and use that with your evo's. I personally like the 1 pump option that the wp40 can give you though.

Can't an mp40 give me a one pump option also? I'm gonna grab the two tomorrow off the local guy and see what I can do

Of course it can. If you can get that mp40 for that cheap, I would jump on it though. Be prepared to replace the wet sides quite often though because they do tend to go out

I'm as well waiting for the wp25 as I think the wp40 is too much flow for my mixed 55. Also... u can adjust the angle like in a koralia and plug it in a controller like the reef angel which already has some scripts to mimic the mp40's. I can't wait to get them going soon!

What should I look for when I go to pick them up, to make sure they work great and the wet side isn't bad

Just make sure they aren't too loud, don't rattle, start and stop easily
