Also, temp DOES affect the cycle of ich, however increases the fishes oxygen and metabolism, so its recommended that the temp is kept the same temp and not raised

They have done studies to actually to see if cleaner shrimp had the parasite in their gut after introduction to fish symptomatic with Marine Ich. No parasites were found.

Do cleaner shrimp provide some relief from the symptoms absolutely, they remove some of of the tissue from the fish where the parasite causes inflammation and discomfort, but the parasite is borrowed too far into the tissue for a cleaner shrimp or wrasse to effectively remove and consume.

It's also very possible that the hobbyist is seeing relief because the parasite has fallen off the fish to continue it's life cycle in the substrate.

Once your tank has Ich, it always has Ich, UNLESS, you take ALL your fish out and leave it fallow(fish less) for at least 8 weeks. In the time frame, the Ich should die and your tank should be free of it. However, keeping it free of ich requires a very stringent QT method involving anything that goes into your tank that has water on it, corals, inverts, algae, LR etc. Your best bet is to look in the thread i posted and read vinnyboombatz part I stole "simple ways to avoid Ich". Just keep your stress levels and stocking down, and fish food quality up and you should be good to go;)

Congrats on the fish looking better

but it lowers to oxygen level in the water, which cause more stress on the fish, which is why ya don't mess with the temp, keep params stable.
