How large is your tank? Butterflys usually need quite a bit of room to swim and if you don't have the right home, they will get stressed and die.

Bummed out over your losses but we will need to know some things and most everyone on here will be helpful.
1.)Pictures are vital to diagnosing problems?
2.)How long has the tank been running?
3.)Water are your exact water chemistry numbers?
4.)What size tank and equipment you have?
    5.)What livestock you have?

    ;)

#5 could be your issue in a 60 gal - You would be surprised when fish get to maturity and how they start to take over territory.

Ammonia and Nitrite should be 0. I would also suggest getting better Test Kits if possible...i.e. Salifert. I owned 2 API kits, and both were very inaccurate on some tests.

I would work on getting ammonia to zero before assuming a disease unless you see any obvious symptoms.
