I'm sorry. They are precious pets to us, that bring us joy and entertainment. I'm a new aquarist just starting out with a 55g FOWLR tank and I have lost a few myself.

It's not starting out as a good day, but I'm sure it will turn around. Now I just need to wait for the lights to come on so I can make sure everyone is alright. The clowns are still sleeping, but they look fine.

Ty, I will keep everyone updated. I have to go help my wife take some pictures for her hobby. I think I still have an hour before the lights come on though. I've seen the damsel swimming around and my two shrimp look fine as well.

Im sorry to hear smitty. With how fast it was breathing it looks like adding an airstone could have made a difference. Maybe changing the scape and lower oxygen levels could have been the cause of death. I had a biocube 14 and constantly fought low ph levels because the tank was poorly ventilated. Atleast thats what I figured it was.

I moved him over to the BC14 that just a few small pieces of live rock on the bottom. I thought there should've been plenty of oxygen in the tank since the clown in there was breathing normally. I had an airstone I could have put in there and didn't even think about that. Lessons learned I guess. :-[
