hello i have a kenya tree coral and in the future i might what to frag it.
a little while back i used a fish breeder to acclamate my tomato clownfish because my six line wrasse was pretty aggrsive now the clown fish is acclamated no problems and now i have an unused fish breeder.
i was thinking of using the breeder as a frag rack would this work.
also i am a bit paranoid of touching my corals but i dont have any spare live rock, what would work in its place.
the fish breeder would be in my main tank off to the side
    would this work

I dont see why it wouldn't work. If you put it in the breeder without any rock for it to attach to it will probably attach to the breeder though.

Edit: You could order a couple pounds of live rock rubble from bulk reef supply for just a few bucks.

I wouldnt worry too much about fragging a kenya tree, once it gets comfortable & grows some it will be quite happy to frag itself. I know in 3-4 months I have had mine its already dropped 4-5 branches and all of them are growing quite happily.

It would work as a frag rack and the kenya will readily attach to anything. I had one attach to my powerhead at the inlet once. It would grow until it reached the prop and then whack, it would get a piece chopped off and I would have a new kenya tree. Pretty muched created an automated fragging station by itself. If your nervous about touching yours, then put on a pair of gloves and just use something like a hobby knife or scalpal to cut it. Word of warning though, they reek to high heaven when you cut them yourself so make sure to wash your hands afterward.
