    Actually I think that is how damsels chew up their food. All of my chromis and my damsel does that. They will bite the food and spit it out before swallowing it.

    My fish are always acting like they are starving even though I over feed.

    Haha no, he is really just mad about the food! My royal gramma does that spitting out thing, but she does actually eat the food. She spits the pellet out about 2 or 3 times but then it stays down.

    I think my clown and gramma actually prefer the pellets to the frozen mysis, because they go crazy over the pellets and then pick at the mysis. Success!! ;D
