You know you guys are to fast for me, even though I already had those links I walked away from my desk for 2 minutes when I posted that It made me well... Slow...LOL, so I had to modify it a little bit.

It is very important that everyone understands how dangerous that stuff is! In fact There should be a stick in all coral propagation forums about it, might keep some people from getting seriously hurt.

 

OMG!!!! I knew that some corals were toxic, but never paid much mind to it, really. Except with my 7-year old. When moving stuff around and having it close to the surface, he has many times wanted to reach in and touch it -- which I absolutely have forbidden him to do. Thank you a million times over for inadvertantly making me aware of what I was dealing with. I have printed the story about the dog which I will read to my son tonight. Please accept my apologies for temporarily jacking this thread.

I have seen many people get squirted in thier eyes and the eyes swoll up so bad it was a few days before they could see again and have a cut on your finger and get that juice in the cut bad I tell you.

 

yeah, I used gloves, and made sure the work area was clean and clear of anything, I read about them before attempting it, but yeah I agree on safety, its not something to play around with for sure, just wear proper gear and always take your time and it should go ok.
