    time for noob question of the day #2! :)
    how often do i feed it, and what?

    You don't have to feed palys directly. You'll notice them grab stuff during normal feeding time for the fish. As for the frag plug, I would just use some epoxy putty and secure it to a piece of rubble rock. They are already covering the majority of the top of it and will have the whole thing covered in no time. But I do agree, frag plugs are ugly. I usually try and find a piece of rock with a hole in that I can stick the plug in to hide it. Nice score and even better for only $5.

    but would occasional feedings cause it to grow faster?

    Nice paly's. I'd like to add some like those to my tank too! Light is more crucial to them in terms of nourishment. I wouldn't worry about target feeding them so much. Like someone mentioned before, 3reef motto- go slow let it grow. No super fast way to force growth. Just give them what they need and enjoy growth as nature intended ;^).

    ok i just want that ugly plug gone without pulling them off of it and causing stress. but slow it is :) hahaha

    thanks! :) my lfs has tons of those mini frags for 5-10$ they are amazing and, to a detail i cant capture on my camera, the reachers are green and purple and some other parts are purple, so pretty :) !!! haha

    start a thread on your tank :p sounds cool with just those corals. :)
