finally watched my file fish eat the plague!!!!

I had lost all hope on my Lil matted file and was planning on selling him next week. Woke up this morning and do my daily look about before lights go on and noticed my file chewing on something and then spitting it out before eating it. Thought it was a polyp of a coral because you could make out the slime he was spitting out. Then I noticed a lil brown speck floating and saw him do the same thing. When he spat it out it was an aiptasia!!!!!! Was the proudest and most awesome feeling to see this guy get to work finally. I'll see if I can get pictures or video him doing it again today or tomorrow morning.

 

Good to hear. Now just watch in a few weeks they'll be gone. Every now and then a baby pops up and the next day it's gone. I love my file fish. He's gotten personable too.
