i could have sworn that they were the same. huh, you learn something new everyday.
but no they deff. dont have those polyps, my coral have more clustered polypos, and they are oblong. i wish thta i could get a better pic so that you could see the clusters.

    also thanks!

lol! i dont think you could get one half this size! i mean this is the smallest frog spawn ive seen in a while. ive been getting frustrated because all the torches and frogspawn down here have been the size of my tank! and the color on this one is exactley what i wanted.

    thank you both!

you dont know the half of it. i've waited about 3 years... the first piece i bought, didnt get the best care when i was a newbie and died in my tank. and we all know what happens when one of these dies in the tank.

so i wanted one but i couldn't bring myself to buy another for fear of another melt down.

but the day has come and i love it! one of my favs. next to ricos and shrooms.

Easiest way to tell one from the other is if the "stalks" on the polyp split into different tips. A frogspawn and octopus will, hammers won't.

Looking at the picture, I would guess a frogspawn myself.

I agree, I was looking at some frags yesterday. That is a frogspawn. I was so close to getting it. After reading your post and looking at your pic, but I dont think I have enough light :(. Oh well I got some cool frags any way. Good luck with that little guy. If you frag that guy, let us know lol.
