    I've built a dozen or so sumps and find that glass works best for the baffles. Silicone doesn't like to stick to the acrylic IME and I've actually had one baffle let go. I don't think it is a common thing (letting go). But a real pain to fix. And I have found glass to be cheaper here locally.
