How much and how often should I feed this bubble coral? I assume pieces of shrimp, ect. would work, just not sure how big the pieces should be?

Hard to guess the size by the picture, but ill say 3"? so maybe 1/2"
piece of raw shrimp once a week.

Thanks VA. It's about 4.5" when it's all the way open. So it can eat three whole (1/2) piece at once?

You're best bet is to always start out small and work your way up to bigger/more foods. However, too much and the food will take too long to digest causing rotting of the food and potential infection of the coral which I'm pretty sure is 100% fatal. At that size I'd still stick to 1/2" pieces of shrimp once or twice a week.

FWIW, some folks stick with mysis. As Va Reef indicated, smaller foods digest easier than large pieces. You can always give more if needed.

It lived the mysis. Actually it was marine cuisine. I distracted the arrow crab with some mysis so it didn't thieve it. Thanks for the tips all.

I have had mine for over 3 years. Never really bother to keep it on a periodic feeding schedule. I do have some fish that are fed with mysis on the daily basis. I don't think direct feeding is necessary. Especially it will get big faster and you will likely have to distance the bubble from the hammer sooner.

Thanks for the tip sc. I've been feeding sparingly. I was afraid it was starving without me knowing.
